I think so? Austria has a GD of zero, but by definition it would be at least -1 if they lose. That would put them behind Iran by that goal

Hmmm, if Algeria stays in 3rd and gets a draw, they will face Switzerland instead of Spain if they beat Austria to finish 2nd. Unless Austria really pissed them off in this match, there are more the reason to just get a draw. Not sure how I feel about this 3rd place finish BS.
