I think I’m supporting Norway now…like we know he isn’t good at golf, he gets his caddies to drop the ball nearer the hole his swing in every video I’ve ever seen looks pretty bad.
Harry he’s not Hitler he won’t arrest you, utter dumb cretin.
If that President invited me somewhere I’d go somewhere else.
From a purely Liverpool perspective, it would be better for England to progress but Kane is making it difficult to support them with his sucking up to Trump.
We don’t have any players in the England team. City and Arsenal have several. The more they stay in the tournament, the worse it’s going to be for them regarding next season.
I hope the Swiss knock out Mac Allister too, but that’s a pie in the sky.
It’s amazing how little details can really wind people up. There was a Sci-fi series a few years ago called Primeval, which involved dinosaurs finding their way to modern day London via time portals. Now I was perfectly happy with the time travel hokum, dubiously researched monsters, cutesy flying lizards, Hannah Spearritt dancing around in her underwear and so on. But when a supposed scientist tried to identify the sex of a skeleton by counting its ribs, that was the final straw.
I’m all for those City and Arsenal players having an extra week off if it means England being dumped out tonight. Fwiw I don’t think we’re going to be bothering either of them next season anyway, but that’s another story.
Anyway, where’s me Viking helmet…
There have to be serious questions around City as well. Maresca faces a huge challenge taking over there. The conditions are ideal for Arsenal to repeat, but equally we could see something like 2016
I am hoping England go all the way to the final. I love this bunch of players, they are humble, they talk nicely in interviews and there is this cameraderie and they look out for each other. They also look after the youngsters and the newcomers.
All due to Gareth Southgate and now Tomas Tuchel, who is such a wonderful coach. We are lucky to have him. England Manager can be the worst job in the world.
Whereas, during the ‘golden generation era’. It was all about their WAGs dancing on tables in Germany at the Euros and themselves. Those players refused to sit with each and sat in their own little groups and they hardly welcomed the first time selected newcomers, who felt intimidated . I haven’t see one WAG at this tournament.
