Currently weather reports suggest a risk of thunderstorms around kick off time and the temperature is expected to be very close to the unsafe limit set by FIFA and above that outlined by Fifpro so the game could be at risk of a delayed kick off.

Getting closer now !

They actually have an unsafe kick off temperature?

I wonder who had the bright idea to host games at Miami in July.

They have instituted “hydration breaks” though, so it’s all good now, nothing to worry about.

From the BBC article:

In its guidelines for playing in heat, external players’ union Fifpro says a WBGT above 28C should lead to the “delay or postponement of matches” until conditions are safer.

Fifa’s emergency care manual states a higher reading of 32C is the point at which “cooling breaks must be used or the match may be either postponed or cancelled”.

The current forecast is for between 29 and 32.

She was great on No.73 when I was a kid. Solid broadcaster over the years, but the Bake Off stint wasn’t a good fit in my opinion.

The team is ready:

Essentially Scheldrup in for Nusa.

Wonder if I can get a refund from that witch doctor, Kane’s curse was supposed to get transferred to Haaland!

You slit the throat of the wrong puppy. It had to be an actual albino. Having white fur doesn’t count.

4 men sitting on a girder high above Central Park.
Almost as corny as sticking Emma Hayes in the kitchen.

Who are those people?

Where do you want to go with this, mate ? I don’t really get it. It was obvious you knew who they were when you asked, so I am at a loss to understand what you want out of this exchange

One is at Arsenal - so no, not a footballer.
Haaland is a good goalscorer but a fairly poor footballer, the rest look like the names of IKEA shelving unit accessories
