FIFA World Cup 2026 - USA/Canada/Mexico (Part 3)

Nah not a club rivalry, don’t care who he plays for I can’t stand how he plays. He came from Liverpool’s academy so in theory I should support him but I can’t advocate for his style of play.

If he wasn’t English he would get far more criticism for his style. He’s got a bit smarter in recent years with it. He used to just fall down without contact, now he initiates contact and then falls down.

I prefer players who can get in a shot or make a good pass but he doesn’t do that, he just lies on the floor.

Fucking despise watching him play. Glad he’s at Barca now so he can stop being linked with a move here, that would make me physically sick to have to watch every week.

Yeah I dislike Gordon in general, glad he isn’t playing PL anymore as well. I don’t mind Bellingham to be honest as much as I did and Haaland is another who I am liking more but will reverse when he heads back to petrodollars.

I was pissing myself laughing at him, also the 2 saves 1st on was better than the 2nd one as most normal keepers save that no problem as the have height and normal length arms

I was amazed he got sent off as he is a really nice lad and hasn’t got a bad bone in his body. I have seen much worse tackles in this WC that were merely waved away , that was not worthy of a red even a yellow would have been harsh.

He so wants a win to get one over on Europe. He’s a toddler. Suppose he can accept Argentina winning as they have their own toddler.

Imagine Spain winning like, he already hates their leader for not sucking cock during that folly war in Iran.

How can you say that, he went in full steam, out of control off the floor and stupidly had his foot up, yes he did get the ball but that follow through could easily have broke his leg.

On pickfords saves, I thought both weren’t difficult saves but because of his size he makes the second look spectacular when it is routine for most keepers.

I am used to it going over him

I thought Quansah could easily have kept his right foot lower to win the ball, but the end result could easily have broke the other player leg, luckily it was off the floor

What’s to stop England seeking a postponement of his red card so he can play in the next match ?

I wonder if Tuchel goes with Burn against Norway. Haaland up against Guehi and Konsa could be a bloodbath.

Yeah I’m Quansah’s biggest advocate but it was a reckless challenge and poor execution. Not even sure why he was steaming in there should be standing up and defending the situation as a 1v1 not diving in.

I’ve just seen it. I don’t think he or any England fan has cause for complaint. He was in the air, out of control and studs showing.

For me it’s one of those that when one of your players does it you grit your teeth and hope the ref is feeling charitable.

It was a red card, there’s no argument to be had.

I’m sure Tuchel will give some consideration to using Burn against Norway. If he doesn’t play him from the start then England will have to stop the service to Haaland. Without it, he’s not in the game.

Ssssshh as a Welshman you should know this :grimacing:

I thought it was a red on the replay… sadly when the foot goes in on the leg like that you hope for PGMOL ruling which could mean anything depending on who the ref is.

The side for the 2014 semi final

The lack of technical quality and flair would embarrass a mid level European side.

Nico Williams aggravated an injury on a rough tackle in the Uruguay game. He is supposedly available to today but looks to be touch and go and that might push Munoz one step closer to being called upon.
