Agree with every single word
@mattyhurst I know someone here who would fit that abominable shirt down to a tee
Thatâs got itâs own threadâŚ
I agree, it gives off an arrogant vibe, that we all are this self-entitled fanbase. I think we should stick with New Orderâs âLoveâs got the world in motionâ featuring our own John Barnes.
Itâs a bloody joke!!
Sick of hearing it.
I bash Rooney but even he is right in this clip
For an hour it was exactly the game england wanted. Argentina had a good amount of the ball but struggled to get it forward into dangerous areas effectively. We were not using it the ball ourselves well, but this team rarely does that, but with the pace and quality of Gordon and Rogers on the counter there was always going to be opportunities. And once we took the lead that dynamic got magnified, but the team immediately stopped playing and every sub made it worse. We all of a sudden gave Argentina the game they wanted. And the worst thing of it all is that if youâre going to go into your shell and defend, at least make yourselves difficult to beat. That defensive England defended so poorly that even as late as the Fernandez equalizer was it never felt in any doubt that was going to come. The chances were just too good and too numerous.
Good article on it
To think the final will be played by 2 teams who couldnt beat Cape Verde in 90 mins
Agree with this.
ÂŁ5M a year. Sack him. Now.
To think Cape Verde was more willing to attack Argentina than England wasâŚ
If you played football, as in real football, not on your PlayStation youâd understand my point.
Clearly you dont get it.
My point,
Bellingham slapping a guy after the match isnt brave or tough or heroic. Itâs stupid and cheap.
Do the hard man stuff on the pitch, accept your loss and be gracious.
If you need to complain, do it later. He looked a moronic bell end for his action, and very few (like you) would commend him for it.
Yup I donât think Argentina would have been so on it if they had in the back of there mind that England were looking or had the capability to break on them, and there was at least a couple of opportunities that if England had that out source they could have broken. They signaled there intent so Argentina just went for it knowing they could leave effectively one man back.
I think he over heard the ginger bloke saying something in Spanish that he didnt like.
He would slap anyone for no reason. He was shaking hands with the others.
Tuchelâs tweaks: The tactical disasterclass (skysports)
- 72 minutes: England are on the verge of a first World Cup final since 1966 but Tuchel decides itâs time to shut up shop, replacing goalscorer Anthony Gordon with Ezri Konsa to switch to a back five.
- 76: OFF THE POST! Alexis Mac Allister heads against the post from close range. England are on the ropes.
- 82: Reece James and Declan Rice are replaced by Dan Burn and Nico OâReilly. It means seven of Englandâs outfield players are now defensive-minded.
- 86: GOAL! Englandâs luck runs out. Enzo Fernandez has another go from range and this time he beats Jordon Pickford.
- 90+2: OFF THE POST! There is no stopping the waves of Argentina attacks. Mac Allister fizzes one off the post.
- 90+3: GOAL!! England succumb to the pressure. Lautaro Martinez gets on the end of a Lionel Messi cross and heads home.
- 90+6: Ivan Toney and Marcus Rashford are called for from the bench, replacing Djed Spence and John Stones. Meanwhile, Burn moves up front.
- 90+10: England fail to create a chance and bow of the World Cup.
He should walk away, be honest.
Its not like he wanted a fight, he backed away pretty quickly.
Its stupid.
Decision on 72 is probably right but taking 10 minutes and not having at least the option to go with Toney and Rashford if the game changed is diabolical frankly. Especially as Argentina had basically done the opposite.
Great summary. If you had posted that at 8pm last night, you could have saved me watching it.
@GermanRed could probably have done so.
No.
Exactly, I could have gone to bed earlier.
I did sleep quite well last night though.
