FIFA World Cup 2026 - USA/Canada/Mexico (Part 4)

I’m not bothering to get up and I’m planning to watch it about 12 hours delayed and I’ll fast forward all the non football guff. Luckily I’m working from home/hanging with my eldest so I can avoid any interaction ‘spoilers’.

Pretty sure in Germany and many other countries the halftime shitshow would be booed from start to finish. Doesn’t matter who would perform.

Said this after the club World Cup. If Trump or any other politician would be invading my teams space during the celebrations I would 100% give him a beer shower.

Real shame Norway were in the wrong half of the draw otherwise they would have done a lot more damage. Really enjoyed their matches.i hope they qualify for the Euros good luck mate .

Yeah I do wonder if we won’t see it in Spain next time

Well, a few not so good weeks of seeing Scotland look like a pub team

Hope you enjoyed it

I don’t like watching Spain play football, though I concede it is highly effective.
At the same time, if Argentina wins there is going to be the big Argentinian revanchist Falklands drama in the media and on social media because Argentina is pushing it actively, which I also dislike and find taxing.

Hopefully both teams give us good football.

I was a bit disappointed.

Wanted to catch some Scotland games but you were out by the time I remembered.

You didnt miss anything, we’re shite.
When’s it coming home?

You are but you got all dressed up in your skirts for nothing :frowning:

Less heartbreak though.
Suck it up, fellow failures.

I assume you kept the labels on your skirts at least,

Should still be within the 2 week warranty

Nah, keep them for celebrating.
Usually every 2 years when it doesn’t come home

No point you getting dressed up just to watch on the telly mate

I know there isn´t much else going on in Scotland

Relevant to discussions from this World Cup. Uefa telling ref to intercept the rule as written regardless of how world. Up refs have interpreted it

Notice I didn´t move to Scotland though!

How convenient…

I did think they were using it incorrectly there even though Embolo was dumb for it. It simply shouldn’t have been looked at.
