My hometown, watched a few WC games right there.

Craziest was 2006 when we secured progression to the knockouts.

This is my favourite scottish song, after flower of Scotland. My Scottish relatives played this song at two of the sons wedding (dancey version), we all went mad on the dancefloor.

I haven’t watched a World Cup match since Friday night. I just can’t cope with the amount of matches on

I’ve already seen quite a few videos like this—a European’s experience shopping in America. To be honest, that would be a bit of a nightmare for me, too.

I haven’t managed to watch a full game yet, simply because the timing is really difficult for me—I keep falling asleep in between. But tonight, I at least have to try to watch the German game all the way through.

Roos were great and an awesome day all round. Nestory for LFC, you heard it here first!

I was also at Fed Square for the homecoming of Australia’s greatest ever athlete.

When I used to visit my relatives in US/Canada they used to take me to Costco. I couldn’t handle it, I switched off. It was so overwhelming, my head would spin round with all the long and never ending aisles. It was so huge.

Watching MOTD.
Had to turn it off.
Thankfully Brazil are also shite

I’ve just finished watching the Scotland game on catch-up. Happy with the win, but Scotland looked completely out of puff after 30 minutes.

Their other two matches have an earlier kick-off so if the heat is getting to them they are completely knackered.

Scotland usually mess up the easy match and then get a result against the group favourites but go out on goal difference. Maybe they are just doing things differently this time?

I’ll be amazed, but also happy I suppose, if they dont go out in the group stage.

The likely (and familiar) scenario for Scotland is we’ll draw against Brazil, but lose out on goal difference because we only scored once against Haiti.

EDIT - Almost referred to Haiti as minnows, but just found out their population is more than double that of Scotland

haha is that my reputation already

Bouaddi fan

Luckily for Scotland if that did happen and they finish on 4 points there is about a 99.5% chance they’ll progress.

On Bouaddi

He´s going to have a good world cup and his price will go up.

You wonder, why did we (and every other club) not buy him before, It´s clear he´s good. Maybe his club knew this and didn´t want to sell. It´s interesting

For all the rule changes being implemented at this WC, one of the most ignored offences is being ignored.
We see it being ignored every week of the domestic season.

Contact after the ball has gone.
In open play a foul is given 99% of the time, yet in the penalty area, nothing.

McGinn last night, got his shot away then taken out by the defender.
Why are these incidents ignored?

Probably because it would have to be a penalty. Maybe they should award indirect free kicks for things like that?

Give it. They will soon stop doing it

Like tackles from behind that are eradicated
