Does it ruin any of the fun to say the lad who scored isn’t some random fisherman from a tropical island and that he’s a Dutch youth international who has played for PSV and Juventus?
He was actually listed in The Guardian’s “Best Players born in 2004” list back in 2021 as well.

A dark horse will never have a better chance to win this, all the big boys look fucking garbage.
Setting aside our terrible performance in recent tournaments, the pattern has always been that we start poorly and then improve from game to game. In principle, that isn’t worrying; we should shake it off now—after all, we haven’t lost in ten games.
