Interesting that Diomande points to the midfield demanding someone to cover a massive gap but no one responded. You could see that he was frustrated with the lack of coverage. Lucky that Ecuador did not exploit the space at that time.
I thought only if the medical staff comes on the pitch that the player needs to leave, but why is the ref asking the player to go off if the med staff did not come on?
Not been a great game, this. Not seeing 100+ mil value in Diomande, but admittedly this is the only time ive ever paid attention to him.

They blame FIFA, but they also travel rather late and then that is the risk they take.
Of course, one can also blame the US directly, I suppose. In reality, I think blame should be put on all parties, including Uruguay.
