Surprising game, I thought Uruguay would be more dangerous. In the past they have been a real asshole of an opponent (as in difficult to play against and quite lethal).
But maybe their current generation of players are not the best these days (I will not pretend to know all of their players well)
The European monopoly doesn’t help.

The end of this game was really, really entertaining !
First half was so-so though.
England are winning the World Cup aren’t they? In a year where there’s no Liverpool representees too so the rest of the country can lap it up. I so hope to God they fail. FAAILLLLLL I say!!!
When it’s us (LFC) facing these low blocks, we absolutely hate the opponents doing that to us. But when it has nothing to do with us and watching underdogs defending like crazy with low blocks, we cheer for them. Football supporters are finicky, eh?!

Infantino I am sure was in Atlanta Georgia for the Spain game so that’s a 4 hour flight. I do hope one of his houses does flood through climate change.
