I’m extremely disappointed in how Wales performed. If we’re being honest, we haven’t been good enough in the two games.
The thing for Wales is our fitness levels, not enough of our players are playing 90 minutes regularly. Not enough energy, nobody looked fresh. You can get a couple of players through like that, but not five or six.
We were lucky against the USA. We lost to the better team today, no doubt about it. They were fitter, more confident, more sharp. We can’t complain about that result at all.
Yes the English will no doubt consider themselves as World Cup favourites again following that result. I will enjoy it when the wheels fall off the chariot again.
Really poor from Wales to be fair. Nothing in midfield at all, couldn’t string 2 passes together as you say. Completely devoid of shape too I’d say.

Just saw the score sheet for Wales v Iran. Absolutely gutted for Wales, really wanted them to win.
It is difficult now for them to go into the next round.

Have tbh, I find personally politics etc should be kept out of sport, but from the perspective of Iran and the nation I’m glad they won and during this shit time that they are going through, it may not be much as it’s only a game, but I hope it brings some joy in a time of chaos , even if it does nothing to heal with issues at home…would be great if that joy could spill over to a sense of pride that could impact some sort of change …
But on the day Wales were outclassed by a team that has a lot to play for more than what we had to, and it was the right result .

Just poor in midfield and in possession. I hate this obsession with playing Ramsey in an advanced role. You put your best ball playing midfielder in the thick of imo.
Otherwise credit to Iran too. They didn’t sit back.
