Di Maria’s wasnt a dive though, clear clip of the heels.

Well a great 15 minutes with France waking up.:woozy_face:

Biggest difference has been Di Maria going off

And there was clear contact here. Just because the defender is pulling his foot back, doesn’t mean there’s no contact.

Di Maria clearly deliberately left his trailing leg behind, looking for contact.

If France win this in injury time after Argentina wasted all that time.

It would kind of sum up that FIFA rule

The two given penalties are as clear and uncontroversial as you can get. The complaints about them is bizarre.

Not the point. He clearly dove. And he initiated secondary contact with the defender’s leg as he was theatrically falling. A clear dive

No. There was clear contact, with the defender’s foot on top of his.

The only argument is what is a penalty nowadays? One time a player had to be fouled now it’s touched.:woozy_face:

Argies need so fresh legs with pace up front, when players get tired pace is key, that is why France are on top atm

Wow…

Coman been class since coming on

Agree with this. This match has done a 180 and Scolari (EDIT: Scaloni) has done nothing to change that.

Wasn’t that a deliberate back pass?

Never seen a backpass like that by a defender to his keeper.

Coman absolutely taken out just outside the box.

That was a sodding back pass.

Giroud booked

The player himself ruefully acknowledged the dive and the subsequent yellow card here you are still banging on about a non-penalty

Yes you aren’t supposed to fashion a back pass in that manner even though it is with the knee

Using your knees/thighs is fine.
