Nice quote, because that can be said of them not only on the ball, but off the ball. Find each other, defend with each other. Thatās what I hope they all get.
And being 22, with the stuff heās done and proved already, heās not a young player anymore. Heās not old, but heās not brought in as a talent to start performing in a few years. Heās already a serious player brought in to make a difference today and tomorrow.
He shouldnāt be expected to carry the team (nobody should, thatās then a more negative thing to say about the team in the first place) and it wasnāt all bad from him this season, but there is no hiding from that so far both Liverpool and Wirtz havenāt produced what was expected.

I was wondering with Bradley in for Gomez whether he would keep Wirtz at #10 or swap him with Szobo. Not that it matters too much as in possesion theyāre not far from each other, closing the box-shape as double #10ās.

first signs of frustrution with Florian Wirtz for me today (spurs 21/12/25)
an obviously supremely talented player, finally gets his first assist, but there was a passage of play in the first half where he jinked past a player as if he was a training cone and got a shot away that at best could be described as having no convictionā¦
ive spent my whole time with Wirtz to date wanting him not to be too worried about his stats or any surrounding noiseā¦now i think he needs to start caring though, we need him to turn up the āgreedy bastardā dial a few notchesā¦
to drag this down in the gutter..
its a bit like when you take the misses out for a date night, always lovely to have a nice meal and a bit of one on one timeā¦butā¦yknow, lets get home and start to fuckā¦

At present Flo is the only reason I turn in to watch us when we play. Kerkez too. Rest of them just trotting about like they couldnāt give 2 fucks.
