Does this mean that there is a general lack of talent available in the Merseyside area ?
Other areas in England seem to get better grassroot programs.

Decent player, Italian league will suit him. 100% unsuited to Iraola style as he holds onto the ball for an eternity. Would have been an outstanding player if he left that shit at youth level. Has outstanding ball control, just slightly behind Diaz in that regard, alas it was ultimately his downfall.
I watched Inter play yesterday and I wish him every success in becoming more than just a squad player there.
There goes our last senior homegrown player.
He has a song by the Inter fans.

I’m sure I’ve suggested that song when he broke into the first team.
Im glad they appreciate him. He wasnt perfect here and deserved some of the flak he got, but a lot of the time he seemed a lightning rod for criticism unfairly.
Hope he does well there

He picked up a thigh injury during the break and will be out for several weeks. Beyond his ability and application, that fragility is what he needs to find a solution to if he’s going to become the everyday key player he was looking to become.
