Derby have agreed a deal for RB Salzburg midfielder Bobby Clark.

The former Liverpool academy graduate is in the UK and set to have a medical on Monday.

Had a google and we have a sell on clause so that’s some dough in the bank

If Clark does complete his switch to Derby it will bank Liverpool just over £1 million owing to a 17.5 percent sell-on clause.

. I had high hopes for him being a success at Liverpool.

is that stevie g’s cousin?

No. He is long gone, thankfully. Bobby Clarke was one of the Klopp kids that helped us win the league cup in Klopp’s final year. Lee Clarke’s son.

I do feel sorry for the kid really. He acted like an idiot but he was clearly following very bad advice by Saif Rubie to force his way out of the club.

Yep…

Frankie Lane (20 July 1948 – 19 May 2011) was an English footballer who played as a goalkeeper.[1] He began his Football League career with Tranmere Rovers,[2] before joining Liverpool, where he spent four years as reserve goalkeeper. He made only two appearances for the club – the first of which, against Derby County, was notable for an incident where he safely caught a cross, only to step back over his goal line[1] – but did make it onto the bench for the 1973 UEFA Cup Final,[3] before leaving to join Notts County in 1975.[1] He was also second choice at Meadow Lane, understudying Eric McManus,[citation needed] before dropping into non-league football with Kettering Town in March 1978.[4] Lane died in May 2011.
