It really isn’t his fault how the stadium is configured.

I’d be more concerned at the penalty that Inter Miami got, effectively anything to get Messi in the final.

Ron Yeats, all seven foot of him

Liverpool FC. FA Cup winners 1974. And the brilliant commentator, David Coleman, famously said:
ā€œKeegan two, Heighway one,
Liverpool three Newcastle none!ā€

I assume retired. Though a couple of them looked like they’d retired when they were playing for us.

Just on that subject, I know it’s not brought into a conversation for obvious reasons, presumably there is an additional insurance payout on Diogo’s death to recoup something equivalent to a transfer fee.

He does have a point. Leaving Liverpool also contributed to the general crap of his career thereafter.

Edit if a Michael Owen had emerged from our ranks in the Klopp to now era that player would probably be vying for being one of our greatest. As well as being a bit of a dick at the time, the team was never in a position to be able to make anything of him than an individual superstar. Injuries, crappy team and having a slightly inflated sense of self all combined to make sure he sure he never reached where it’s possible he could have.

Still don’t like the fucker.

Well no one forced him.

Don’t disagree with Owen.

Rooney is obviously the far greater player. But Owen was miles above when comparing their achievements when they were both 17/18.

Didn’t realize that Ovie Ejaria (28), after two seasons of no football, is playing La Liga football with Oviedo. Played in the first two league games of the season. Good for him.
