He’s a nutter.
Although Balotelli’s action was uncalled for, the news outlet twisted the sequence like that he punched his team mate on the face or something.
…it could well be, slap/punch and say to his teammate, like sometimes we nudge our buddies: “Don’t you think that is all BS by taking me off?!”
re: Balotelli
Not sure where else to put this.
Died so young
He gave me and a friend some free tickets to sit in the stand for a reserve game once.
Used to stand as Southport charged something silly for the stand. But yeah Roy was their with who I assume was his wife and gave us two.
Top bloke.
Left to go back to Brondy, the club he started his career with,
played 43 games in 2 seasons then retired,
Not a fan of Rodgers, but he and the club must have known Aggers body wouldnt last much longer in the physical EPL
so they let him leave and play in a less physical league for the team that he started with,
and see out his career,
gotta respect Rodgers for that decision.
Three weeks into the season, still on trial.
At one stage he looked like he was going to make it here.
Yeah well, there were, are and will be thousands like that (and better ones, too) who will look like they will make but, but won’t.
Samed Yesil is playing at a 5th tier club in Germany now.
Love it. Barnes got a worldie free kick that match too.
Macca was very underrated. Younger fans probably don’t know who he is. Great box to box midfielder.
He had big boots to fill.
There’s been a lot like that at ‘our’ club just look at Hendo!
As much as I love Henderson, I’d have Macca every day. Be a nice problem to have!
I always thought he was a very good player , but nowhere near the quality of those from those sides before him or we’ve seen over the last 20 years?
I was just about to say the opposite
You missed the point. Hendo had to fill Gerrard’s boots McMahon had to fill Souness’ boots (and from a much more favarable situation).
No need to compare players like you have from different eras, both have been great assets for usat different times.
