Probably should be moved to another section of the forum but it’s a just discussion. That Palmer one annoys me for no rational reason.
Lingard and Pogba’s celebrations were cringe AF as well.

Would be funny, but also likely to fall foul of the rules.
I generally hate any rehearsed goal celebrations, but I can remember Steven Gerrard scoring in a cup match (might have been against Luton) and refusing to celebrate at all. He really came over as an arrogant prick.
Maybe just the end part, allowing for holistic internet interpretation.

Kid at my daughter’s U9 game pulled out the ‘kiss the biceps’ this morning. Gotta respect that.
As for ones I hate, that Ronaldo one is up there. Borini and that knife between the teeth (was that what it was?) and then basically any dance celebration that was Roger Milla or that South Africa one at the world cup.
Soo stupid. The sole reason I celebrated them getting knocked out that year.

Are you talking about the 5-3 Luton game?
Stevies goal is the 1-0 and it’s here. I felt he was entitled to celebrate that way and would have been odd for him to go wild when scoring first against what was expected to be a fairly weak Luton side that had been promoted from League 1, whereas we’d just won the CL (and ended up winning the FA Cup that season).
