Guitars, Guitars and more toys that go with Guitars

No doubt. All the more determined to wait for something special now though.

Shame as it wasn’t that far from me and there might have been an opportunity to actually collect it. although the thought of doing that is wrong and I was actually nervous about it. Sort of pissed and relieved at the same time right now.

Pissed and relieved is the medium of life pal. But look what you pair of bastards have done to me:

Epiphone ES335 the wife bought me for Christmas. Lovely warm sound. It had the worst Fret sprout I’ve ever seen on a new guitar. After taking care of that problem and giving the frets a good polish it plays like a dream. By the way if you don’t own some fret erasers then make sure you get some because they make polishing frets a breeze.

I have one of these on my list, so a little appreciative and envious. Is it two tone or is that a trick of the camera?

Blueberry burst. Very hard to photograph to be honest. Almost aqua in the center to a deep blue on the bout to a deep burgundy on the horns.

She has bought me 3 Guitars…what a woman! The 335 is the latest. First was a Takamine EN10 Acoustic. For my 40th birthday she bought me a Gretsch Ani G6118T with TV jones pups, got it sent from New York of all places!

Definitely a keeper. Guitars and wife.

PRS se, bought just over a year ago in Dawsons in Belfast. A beast of a guitar with a very different feel to the neck and a wide, flat feeling fretboard.

A classic. A butterscotch tele. Very easy guitar to play, perfect for country or rockabilly…but you can play anything on a Tele, no collection is complete without a decent Tele.

Combining guitar and football porn on your walls, I see :+1: :metal:

Never seen a colour scheme like that before.

I think my missus would give me a key to the garage, along with a sleeping bag

From the inspired by Gibson range apparently. I love it, not the easiest guitar to play though. Perfect for slow blues, BB king style stuff.

Absolutely. A print of a painting of the King I bought from a Belfast artist.

Yep, straight from Gibson.

I’ve also just seen that Epiphone have released a Les Paul 1959 tribute model. Looks a beasty.

Haha, :grinning: sorry for Jacking your thread bro.
I don’t own a goldtop, but I’m working on it. I’m retiring in 4 years and will buy something special then…probably a Goldtop with P90’s.
