Next project, learn the whole of Kill or Be Killed including solo.
I have something close, which is a Peavey Ultra 60, with two gain stages, so 3 channel. It is said to be a forerunner to these, it evolved into the 5150 (I think). A tech told me because its Peavey and he was Fenders main amp designer, that most Peavey’s are modelled on or alike the Fender Deluxe. So I love this amp, apart from its loudness. But the gain stages are unusable, just a but too decrepit and noisy. Valve circuitry is KT6L6 so much sharper and less mid lively. I would guess the top 3 are like this design.
My Dad has Peavey classic 20 (tweed?) Its ace but a straight copy of a fender hotrod, so maturally mid humped and different valve circuitry, EL84 or 34 something.
Is all I know
I don’t think I can put this question in a thread that is more appropriate, so I’ll go with this one.
One for our Germany-based members: is there a reliable website in Germany where I can buy used music gear other than www.kleinanzeigen.de (and can this one be counted as reliable)?
I was convinced that I had asked @anon27364116 about it ages ago but I genuinely couldn’t find it, I might have asked on TIA perhaps.
@Nikola and for used I’d try both Facebook groups and
Thanks, mate! I’ve actually tried Reverb but it seems that selection that I’m interested in isn’t that broad, unfortunately… Maybe people just don’t want to sell their LTDs and Schecters because they’re too good, haha! As for Facebook, I’ll definitely try it, I’ve never used Facebook ads before, to be honest.
@Nikola find guitar/amp buy-sell groups local to you in Facebook. I’ve sold two and bought two guitars just using Facebook guitar groups. And the selection will be better than Reverb as well.
I would look no further. Not sure what the difference with the stealth one is but 5150 is the shit!
No Stairway to Heaven on the list?!
Mandatory addition! Can’t stand it when someone starts noodling that intro! Badly!
No offence, but do you have tiny hands?
Are you insinuating that @Semmy is Donald Trump?
Maybe that pick is gigantic?
I heard that small hands can make your pick look really big…
