Yeah ive seen that on YouTube they are giving out fines and decease orders to anyone who has made a guitar with the same shape

Yeah they’re miles too late but a couple of points.
A) Fender QA is shit. The guitars are really variable in quality which is why many musicians moved away from them. Plus their lineup is confusing as hell.
B) this is fundamentally about PRS where the QA is bang on. Their guitars from a consistency perspective are years ahead of Fenders
C) Gibson tried this very lawsuit with the Les Paul against PRS and lost. You can’t copyright a shape by all accounts but there is more detail to it than I can explain here.
D) they have just screwed their reputation. With the second hand market as it is, I suspect their sales of new may drop as a result of this.

Good question! Tough decision.
I think the white is too stark for my taste. So maybe an aged white, or a complete change to black (aka David Gilmour) or maybe tortoise shell?
