Harvey ELLIOTT: 2021/22

Love the positive news on his recovery. I do think it would be huge for him and the team if he was able to be back 100% by the time the African cup starts.

No clue, of course, if that is realistic

18 year old who is determined to get back and work through everything he needs to do.

I was expecting we might see him in the final month but I reckon we might have him for late feb based on this, he has to have a pre season after all

If you can do this already and it is early November I expect him back in January. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Doubt the club will rush him back, when I see kicking a ball with the other lads in training I’ll get excited.

Maybe January is a possibility now that he’s started running :crossed_fingers:

Maybe sooner.

Ah, the good old ‘lets drop some good news before we have to confirm a longer absence for some other key player (Hendo, Sadio)’. :no_mouth:

Would be a good idea if the National Teams paid the wages of any players that return to their clubs injured, until such time they are selected again for their club sides. Might make the likes of the numpty that played Curtis recently think twice about such idiotic decisions

I’m sure the club will go easy with him but we could really do with him back by the time the AFCON comes round. Gomes of Everton was back within 4 months after he had a similar injury so it is possible.

This looks positive, I think January is still hopeful but it is now a hope.

Six months after the season ended?

Probably be even more rising if he hadn’t got the injury sadly.

Man, we can do with some good news with all this AFCON, injuries, and COVID shite. Jones is back and Elliott is soon to follow. :+1:
