That was unfortunately my first thought when Valencia got Elliott; has he really fell that low on the market? Regardless that they finished 9th last season, because at times they were in a dangerous spot like Spurs in the last two seasons. Valencia badly wants European football for financial reasons, this is their 7th season being without it. But it seemed like it was a new reality in last years, some clubs had much more stability and competitiveness.
