I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

What’s killing the bitters more is that they look across over towards LFC and see a manager with a gameplan , a coherent well knit team and a well rounded transfer strategy.

The owners probably wanted Ancelotti to stay because in him, they saw a manager whose credentials they could boast about and hopefully attract a fair few players in , and Ancelotti is a proven manager. Once Ancelotti ditched them, They wanted someone who was proven as well… In comes Rafa. Then the previous recruitment strategies etc under the previous coaches and add the Injuries. Rafa was essentially a dead man walking once the initial few games had gone off and Everton reverted back to well being Everton.

I don’t get the hard on for Lampard as manager? At all! WTF??

If i were the decision maker at Everton , I’d stay far far away from someone like Lampard who’s got absolutely no clue on how to set up a defence.

Even Rooney would be a far better option than having Lampard as a manager.

That said , I hope they pick Lampard and he kills his career as well as drags everton down to the championship.

There’s someone available though. A manager who’s got a proven track record of
a) Encouraging Youth
b) Simple football that even idiots like Yerry Mina can get behind
c) Made his team qualify for UCL for the last 2 years
d) Reached the finals of a European Championship…
e) Is a good man-manager with an eye for improving young strikers.

Why do people not even consider him ?

If the Blueshite are complaining about Pereira mainly because he has never won anything as a manager… Well they need to take a long hard look at the trophy list Manager Lampard has won… Oh that’s right, he hasn’t won anything either.!!
What is that famous saying… “Don’t shit on your own doorstep” Cockney wide boy Lampard knows he only has to fuck about for 6-9months at Woodison and then let the toxic fanbase force him out with a £10m pay-out so he can then scuttle back down and listen to the Bow Bells every Sunday morning…!
Seeing as it is the Ev… who gives a flying f*** how they get treated eh! :0)

He only encouraged youth because they had a ban the moment that ended everyone bar Mason Mount (and he even became less of a regular) ended up on the bench.

From Kendall’s daughter to big Dunc. It’s actually a really sweet gesture, but I think it says a lot about the club that a personal trinket can still be such importance to the stories of a club today despite it coming from a man whose last trophy was in a year when of their current squad only their third choice keeper was even born.

I was actually referring to

Hurry Up Football GIF by Manchester United

To be fair to Lamps, I don’t think those signings were driven by him, as evidenced by the fact that he seemed undercut by his inability to know how to use them alongside the younger players who had performed so well for him previously.

This whole process of appointing a manager is Everton to a fucking T!

Perrera - hasn’t even been appointed and the fans want him sacked

Lampard - The blueshite sight his bringing through of youth at Chelsea (who were under a transfer ban) and they were chelsea youngster who are a fucking cut above the blue shit youngsters

Rooney - just fuckkng wow - first premier league job, no experience and a relegation fight.

Fucking brilliant.

If they really want Pereira, why haven’t they offered him a contract? How many interviews does it need? Pereira claims to have known Kenwright for several years, so it could be that Kenwright wants him but Moshiri doesn’t.

I suppose you could argue that Lampard was a promising young manager who needs a spell at a (premier) league club to learn his trade, and has big club experience. Meanwhile Everton need someone that will stick around and build them up (preferably building them back into a football playing team).

I think it might be difficult to persuade coaches like Potter to join them in the summer, or top level coaches now they have burnt through Ancellotti and Rafa.
