I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

Fuck off Carlo.

I’ll go with Occam’s Razor in this one and presume your side got another red because they are dirty cunts.

Seems to be suggesting there was nothing wrong with the tackles last week, if they weren’t dirty fuckers eh.

Lucked out last week.

The fat knobhead deserves another Istanbul. Won’t get it with Everton though sadly.

For a team of players that has no intent for injuring their opponent, they sure are making it a habit of it.

Odds for the next player who non intentionally endangers an opponent?

If they are quickly gaining a reputation of thuggish behaviour on the pitch, which is likely, who could blame the opposition from here on in of striking the first blow in each crunching tackle… Ancelotti may have more injuries come to his players than he knows what to do with… Sooner the better eh!

The good thing is that after what happened in the derby, and now again yesterday, they have now firmly that ‘violent team’ tag on their shoulders. We know how it can affect team performance, and also ref judgment.

As for Ancelotti, anyone thinking he’s a good guy is a bit naive. He’s not a good guy by any means, he’s a great manager, that isn’t the same thing. As a player, he was not only a gifted footballer, but also one of the hardest defensive midfielders you could think of.

In short, what we see from Everton these days is a means to make up for lacking talent by increased physical engagement. That isn’t something happening by chance, but a clear intent formulated and applied by Ancelotti and his players.

But it seems that they have taken it too far and will likely pay the price for it. It will be funny seeing them slide down the table after having been hyped up so much during this early season.

I have no issue with accents because that is a regional thing that varies from place to place even within an area with the same language. What I do object to is the lazy Anglicisation that occurs all too frequently because they can’t be arsed to learn the proper pronunciation.

Believe me, it offends because its corrosive.

It’s still James not Hamez to me and that’s not because I’m a lazy English person, stubborn maybe but not lazy.

These bitters are what it says on the tin…and clearly delusional… Digne chased after him after losing a tackle…clearly a bit cheesed off.

Hopefully, Ancellotti will be told where to stick his appeal by FA.

Digne had every intent to bring him down. When you check the video again, you can see he tried to clip him once he lost the ball. When he couldn’t bring him down immediately, he chased and brought him down by stepping on his ankle for an hour (it looked that long in slow motion)

Carlo talking quite a bit of trash in last weeks…

Says Digne’s red card was a joke. :joy:

Come on mate, you’re better than that. You played a rubbish game, say it how it is and go home to prepare the next game.

The problem that he is conviniently overlooking is that whilst it may not have been deliberate or intentinal, it was potenially dangerous and you see plenty of challanges like that lead to serious injuries, so the ref had no choice but to give a red card

And not just that. I recollect the Klopp vs Ancelotti discussions and who should be the one we consider. So happy we went with the right one.

This is the beginning of the season and he looked haggard and bags under his eyes he is showing the strain already I predict that in the summer if PSG come calling he will be gone.

I wanted Ancelotti. The shame of it. I’ve always admired him but he’s gone right down in my estimation this last week or so. The comment about Virgil ‘injuring’ James followed by his whinging last night have shown him right up. Hope JK has revised his opinion of him too.

Yeah, in hindsight ofcourse. There were reasonable aspects why he seemed the correct one, with his CV and where we were back then. All turned out good in the end.

Another gem here from Berlusconi

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has described the social media abuse aimed at his players following the Merseyside derby as “unfair” and “unacceptable”. (Liverpool Echo)

Yes of course, it is unfair to be criticised for kicking in, as a tactic, to end careers.

Just because we’re dirty bastards doesn’t mean people can call us that,it’s very unfair.
