Tbf, he saved them more money by helping them stay up (even though he should have been suspended for the end of the season). They would have blown the 70m anyway.

What happened to Fabian Delph? Like I know he is shit but he disappeared and had to state he wasn’t the peadophille suspect.
And all of Everton is garbage.
Perhaps its a case of too many injuries? Given the likely financial pressures on the club, I can imagine they are looking to free up space on their wage bill. Tosun, Siggurdson and Delph were likely getting a lot more money than they deserved in terms of value they gave to the team.
