You can still be booked after the game. Him pushing past stewards to get to a fan the stewards were trying to block from the pitch is something that he should face sanctions for

Didn’t know that James Garner played football. He was great in the Rockford Files although on that basis he should have signed for Tranmere.

He was also in ‘The Great Escape’. So he should fit right in at Everton.

Garner is a good midfielder, not sure he moves the needle on Everton as a squad though. They’ve had a relatively easy start to the season but haven’t picked up a win and have been second best in every game.
Until they get a reliable goal scorer, they’re going to be in serious trouble.
(Obviously I’ve seen plenty of praise for Lampard already for ‘building from the back’ - by which I assume they mean only conceding once against Leeds and Nottingham Forest which are two of the worst teams in the league…)

There always at it in our games but that Leeds game showed some real issues for that midfield especially if Elliott plays as he did on Wednesday.
Leeds seemed to hit a brick wall but Bamford always looks a bit isolated in that set up.
