Everton 1-2 Southampton

Everton have just resorted to hoofing it. There’s no-one there.

That will probably be that. The boos have started

At least Everton are always there for us to make us feel the slightest bit better, even after today.

More faith in Everton putting a smile on my face by going down than I am of Liverpool doing anything of note.

FT: Everton 1-2 Southampton

This is getting toxic at Goodison.

There are loud, loud chants of “you’re not fit to wear the shirt”.

Unbelievable SOT, where’s this all come from?

FT: Everton 1-2 Southampton

Some Everton fans have now left but a fair few remain.

There are lots of flags and banners.

“You couldn’t run a bath,” one says.

HaHa… quote of the day :0)

At least they are still shit.

Had this horrible feeling they would win today. That would be the icing.

Not the source…the reaction from the fans.

It’s as if they feel EFC deserve more? very entitled fans…over half their fan base never seem them win more than 1 trophy.

‘We have to take responsibility, myself first’

FT: Everton 1-2 Southampton

Everton

Everton manager Frank Lampard, speaking to Sky Sports: "There is no questioning the passion. It was a difficult game because of two teams not where we want to be, fighting it out. We had our chances and didn’t take them. It can be like that. It is an unfortunate day. We have to take responsibility, myself first. We have to do better.

"We were OK in the first half. We played quite direct and had an idea of what we wanted to do. I said to the players ‘this is not a huge tactical game, it is more of sticking together and continue with the right effort’. The fans here relate to that. The goal after half-time changed the game.

"When you take this job you understand the nature of it. I want to get things right here. I will try and do the best job I can possibly do. We had amazing times last year staying up when people thought we would be relegated."

Hahahahahahaha

“HEY!, NOB’ED!”

“Gawww-dan, worrrr’ daaa fook laaaad”

They’ve been nigh on shit for 30 years, what do they expect.

How many seasons have they been like this? And yet they react like this.

They do know they are toxic.
