Weird incident, as a fan you could say bunch of pussies (so many pushing and yet nothing really happened), but objectivelly it’s better that there were no red cards, at least for our guys. Robbo pushed the ball very late and it was obvious, then the reaction was perhaps too much and then it’s impossible for the ref to see exactly who does what. I was just waiting for Holgate to do something silly! But it’s nothing special in the end, you see it from practically every group of players. Coady v Robbo must’ve been fun to hear, they’re probably equivalents of being each team’s biggest talker. That voice that never shuts up and you hear it from miles away.
fuck Coleman, he was acting like a little weasel in there. all bark, no bite in that lad.
the one I was worried about was Iwobi, he was actively looking for someone to tangle with. I suspect it was also Robbo who had his number all game.
Will the bitters be charged by the FA for bringing the game into disrepute.
NEW: Liverpool and Everton have both been hit with an FA charge for failing to control their players at the end of Monday night’s Merseyside derby at Anfield. #lfc [mirror]
I really don’t see what we did wrong here.
Andy Laughing like that.
Once players come piling in from the bench it is difficult to do anything but take the penalty. I think it was right that Virgil got himself in there (maybe less so the more volatile players like Darwin and Tsimi), but you do it knowing you’re going to pay a fine…
I think Virgil saved them from a possible sending off, two of their players looked like the red mist was descending, Onana I think was one, I shall have another look.
This is a joke…it’s got to be…ok Robbo did kick the ball…but the seemed to be aimed at Trex, so he coukd take a goal kick…but no…he charged into Robbo…and then dicky head Coady charged in…so that’s 2:1 from the start…laughable…
Yeah I agree. Salah also came between Darwin and Pickford during the match seems a clear mandate on the senior players.
Blueshite trophy cabinet in 1978. The cup getting polished was one they won in 1924 :0)

They trying to get rid of T.Rex now… The Irony eh :0)
Looks like Pickford’s agreed a new contract with Everton.
He was entering the final year of his deal, having signed the last one way back in 2018.
Thought he might be looking for a new challenge in next months, but perhaps there are no offers.
He will be 29 next month, so that’s probably it as far as his PL career goes. A bit of Sunderland and a lot of Everton.
Maybe there will be a clause if they get relegated.
