I’m always sure if that team existed it was Man Utd.
I’m sure whoever signed Maupay (guess thelwell) looked at his FPL scores the previous seasons and then decided he’s the guy they want.
Slabhead to Everton seems like a match made in somewhere that’s not really heaven, but I don’t see why they would do it when their pressing need is for a CF. But that’s Everton for you.

Reading a bit further, they indicate that their biggest assets are Dyche and Pickford. Essentially, they are relying on finding 3 teams that are worse than they are.

The Guardian’s football predictions are shite. No doubt not helped by being an aggregate of several ‘football writers’ who display an absolute lack of understanding of the game - Liew and Ronay for instance. Indeed the only decent writers seem to either have died, retired or been sidelined

I don’t think they’ve used the money from recent player sales yet, including the 40 mil they got for Gordon. Of course that money may have gone on other things.
