You give it that long?
And I can’t remember seeing a more deluded club/fanbase as in being still so dependant and hopeful that Calvert-Lewin is the same striker he was about 4-5 years ago.
Wake up and smell the coffee and ask yourself the question what did you do not to be still so reliant on Calvert-Lewin being your main source of goals in 2025.
I’ve lost count of the amount of other strikers and offensive options they bought, tried and failed to get something out from.
Maupay, Rondon, Tosun(?), Danjuma, Beto, Broja, Chermiti…
And that’s just strikers.
I could be convinced you made up half of those
TRex coming out at the ready again to seriously injure someone else - He is one shithouse goalkeeper
They should get relegated to league 1.
It’s Beto’s level.
I know he knobbled Virg with a reprehensible lunge, but that is nowhere near Watkins
He wasn’t great 4-5 years ago either.
I remember he was great at flaunting his awful sense of fashion.
He was very good for them for a few seasons. But that’s a long time ago. I mean, he was their top scorer last season with 8 goals, but this desperate wait for him to return to that previous level, total delusion and it’s dangerous.
I just looked and DCL has the exact same record for Everton as club legend Duncan Ferguson, 70 goals in 267 games. Anon should reconsider that opinion.
Dixie Dean managed 63 in a season.
Jumpers for goal posts
Dont knock it. I’ve had several “jumpers and in” in the past.
David James had it down to a tee….
Muhammad Ali training in front of Evertonians in Hyde Park on the morning of the 1966 FA Cup Final between Everton and Sheffield Wednesday.
Only two good seasons for Everton. 2019-2020(15 goals) and 2020-2021(21 goals) where he scored more than 10 goals. That’s it. That’s his purple patch
Even Rashford has better stats than him. Danny Ings scored 25 goals for Southampton the same season DCL scored those goals for Everton.
And the list goes on and on.
He’s a bang average striker who’s on the Ben Brerton Diaz level. Somehow fluked his way into a premier league career.
One or the other club (west ham probably would still buy him as a #2 choice frontman).
Everton fans bigged him up and rated him way too highly to the point of delusion as Zoran says. But a Danny Welbeck is probably twice the footballer that he is.
