When we struggled last season a bit of spite was starting to appear. Its amazing how players are shit one minute and superstars the next with some supporters.
But that is a commentary of human nature, or maybe the need for instant gratification?
Even in our darkest hours I was hopeful of a change of fortune, and when I was scathing of players I was either consistent or acknowledged my mistakes.
I never thought Lucas was good enough, and remained consistent on that.
I was unsure about Hendo but gladly ate humble pie on that call!
And I understand frustration, but I cannot stand venom for no reason except the person expressing the players lack of form feels entitled to do so.

About Lucas , I daresay klopp could have reinvented him but I’d agree , he gave his all for Liverpool but was never quite good enough.
About hendo , i always liked him and felt it was him being suspended which played a big part in liverpool not winning the league in 13/14.
Players i was totally wrong about recently were sakho (felt he could have been a beast in defense , Jose enrique (just a wrong transfer but i saw a good player at newcastle) , joao carlos teixiera (felt brendan should have given him more chances) , emre can (hasnt kicked on has he…)
What a mistake he made, when he left Liverpool.
