I sadly feel that might be the title gone.

Once a week would be fine but these lads aren’t holding up for the entire period. And we see this year after year.

Ah well still the CL.

I don’t think so. Slot has got the best out of majority the players we’ve seen this season. Quansah/Gomez will step up.

Sadly even if they do they will go down at some point.

And Quansah after the sub looks totally different.

If it was the Quansah previous to that I think we could ride it out.

Problem is Robbo is dying on his arse as well and Tsimikas has a ā€œknockā€ though he was at the facilities yesterday so if we can get him on for Newcastle that would help.

Unfortunately, I’m already used to seeing Konate play: 29 (shared with Matip), 24 and 37 games in his first 3 seasons. Which is not great, considering he’s this robust CB in his most potent years.

And he came with a background of seasons where his average wasn’t great either.

Frustrating, but I have the confidence we can maintain the level. Football is a funny game sometimes, you get unpleasant and pleasant surprises (which are sometimes easy to forget).

Not in the best moods anyhow so that’s probably why.

This really looks like a deliberate attempt to injure a player:

Does he? I don’t think I’ve seen anything other than the inevitable fluctuations in form that is stereotypical of younger players…

We haven’t really seen that much of him this season, which would account for why he may have looked a little rusty when he has been on.

Massive shame this. Hes been a rock in defence this season. Here’s hoping hes back sooner rather than later.

I trust Gomez. Quansah, not so much. Testing times ahead.

Could have been worse going into a really difficult time of the season, Arsenal have at least 2 injuries atm.

I’m devastated for him.

& angry.

Don’t know who to be angry at but I’m angry.

Not uncontrollably angry as I did anticipate worst, but angry enough to be angrily angry.

Actually it’s just hit me we’re going to see Gomez at CB for the next 10-15 games, oh sweet mother oh mary give me strength.

Gomez is fine. The problem is, we also lost Tsimikas and Bradley. Now, we have no substitutes for Trent and Robertson. Trent might be okay, but I doubt Robertson can play two games each week for a month.

Last I checked, there’s no timeframe on Tsimikas yet, could be mild, could be serious, we don’t know. We also don’t know how long Bradley is out for.

Tsimkas was down at the training on Thursday and had training gear on from the photos so he probably isn’t that far away.

He’s fine, but not for an extended spell at CB. Much rather see Quansah get the nod, his ā€œawfulnessā€ this season has been blown way out of proportion.

Where has the 10-15 games number come from? Ibou’s words make me think it’s longer ( the rest of the season at least ). If they’ve announced what specific injury he’s got I guess the length of time can be extrapolated from that but I haven’t actually seen what the exact injury is - first guess is knee ligament damage of some sort given the way the RM player rolled over him. Had shades of Ramos on Salah deliberate injury.

Surprised Liverpool haven’t forced UEFA to investigate and possibly retroactively punish the dickhead Endrick.
