There was something nagging away at the back of my mind and after a bit of research itās come to me.
In 2018 we beat Napoli at Anfield (the Alisson save at the end match) and literally at the final whistle Matip had his shoulder injured when Koulibaly jumped all over him. Put him out for months. I remember thinking at the time it was a totally un-nessasary challenge that went unpunished. Ancelotti was the Napoli manager.
Fast forward a couple of years and VVD and Thiago are injured by reckless challenges in the derby. Both out for months. Ancelotti was Everton manager.
Now we have Konate injured after that fat little cunt injured him right at the end of the game. Ancelotti is the manager.
Co-incidence? I donāt think so. I hope the fucking fat, greasy cunt getās hit by a bus.
I think with Endrick it was more of a case of him being an 18 year old forward coming in to a struggling team and trying a bit too hard to impact the game, rather than going out there with the idea of hurting someone intentionally.
The game was all but over.
At that point its nastiness that drives such a challenge.
I get the 18 year old looking to make an impact, but not really in this instance.
All the academy players we have seen come through at Liverpool, can you honestly think of one who would have committed that type of foul?
He was probably sitting on the bench watching Konate destroying their strikers and thinking he wasnāt going to be bullied. Doubt he meant to intentionally injure him. Some of the comments here are hilarious
The one I recall was when he got a red for taking out Kevin Campbell with a waist high tackle in injury time. That was when he was 19ā¦ so yeah not 18
