A shot of bleach and a dose of Ivermectin will clear that up right away.
That’s if it is even real, it could well be fake news.
I had Lyme disease, one of the European versions, I know it’s bacterial however very unpleasant particularly if not treated.
Anyway ticks are to be avoided as they can carry some really nasty viruses and bacteria.

I lost someone I knew from picking up Lyme disease and found out too late. Literally watching him wasted away.

I ended up treating myself )automédication) as for me it couldn’t be anything else. The criteria to be diagnosed and prescribed antibiotics for it were ridiculous.
It’s a horrible illness that eats you away and drives you to madness. I went through it for 15 years. It wrecks havoc with your memory. All I know is I felt really old and after medication for 18 months felt so much younger.
It’s rare that you die from it as it’s very rarely diagnosed.
One thing Lance Armstrong with his foundation is helping to change.

In Europe back then there were outbreaks as far north as Sweden so it will not be surprising to here of wider spread outbreaks with the warming climate, if it remains humid enough.

When you look at the evolution in time of the number of cases, this looks very much like an exponential curve. It’s not evolving quickly, but seems unstoppable for the time being. No treatment, no vaccine…

That is for the Ervebo, and it may help somewhat, but the current virus streak is called Bundibugyo, is it not? For that streak, there is apparently no dedicated vaccine.

A mudslide from the Nepal side hit Gyirong Port in Tibet’s Gyirong County around 10:30 AM local time today (Aug 26, 2026). Xinhua reports major casualties and missing persons; roads, power and communications cut. Rescue ongoing.

Following devastating flash floods in Nepal today, 19 bridges and 40km of roads have been washed away. 13 hydropower projects are damaged and over 200 trucks were swept away. India and China have offered assistance, and Nepal’s government is calling on NGOs for rescue and relief. No casualty count yet. - BBC

I am increasingly looking at the building in the middle at Gyirong port. The building blocked the flow of the river and increased the water buildup to catastrophic levels.
I get that humans think that they can build anywhere , but what exactly is the point of that building except to weaken the mountain soil and also to block the flow of water.
