Apparently racism directed against the Irish player Adam Idah by Israeli supporters will not be investigated by UEFA because ‘the correct protocols weren’t followed’ - ie the ref was only told to ‘listen’ when the chants occurred and not immediately in the moment told that a racial instance occurred. Israelites really are gunning for their country to become the worlds most abhorred.

Questions in the presser should really be about football especially considering the contentious decision to play these games when most public support on our side was to have them cancelled.
1 journalists asked a question of our manager about the hijacked plane and did he agree with it and another asked him to respond to “accusations” that our players where calling them monkeys.

Yes, the so called Israeli journalist said it at Saturdays presser and our communications guy stopped the press conference immediately and pointed out that it was a lie, after which he, along with our manager left the room, inviting the Irish press to come with them.

Barcola got a lot of stick from the French media and supporters which I thought was totally unfair as he was let go by PSG at the very last minute imo deliberately thereby missing preseason with Liverpool. The same thing happened to Isak hence why it is only this season he is showing his true potential. Barcola is young and he will come good just the same as Firmino who took 9 months to shine.

The bizarre parts here are that, following a game where he expected to play and the coach changed his mind, as may happened to footballers every single game. Ronaldo seem to think a discussion and preparation of an eight-point document to presented at the next press conference was a sensible course of action. Then after than didn’t happen a strop and a new 2000 word statement to cover this “very unusual” situation is what is required.
Maybe just say sorry for chucking your toys out your pram and I’m still available if you need me?

41-years of age, in his final chapter of his Portugal career and career overall and he allows something so childish like this to happen in public, amazing. And since it’s possibly important to him, exactly at the time when Messi is getting his big farewell in a proper way. Keep it private, rather, because you just sink further. Great spontaneous players like Salah and Ronaldo with these public outbursts, talking about promises and what not. Grown up kids.

Croatia with a better reaction last night, first half was pretty good and unfortunately we missed some chances to go more than 1 up. Spain though recovered in the second half, put an extra body central and took over control. Merino again with goals off the bench. Has to be one of the weirdest players out there in a good way. Able to play from deep lying midfield to false #9. I guess he probably scans the game well off the bench and knows exactly where to make the difference.

I guess it is a problem with getting too much praise and being allowed to get away with general things. One doesn’t know what it is like to be not seen as the star, the golden one and to be seen as a potential problem. I listen to some of these fromer footballers and current footballers, they haven’t got a bloody clue about in many ways about life. It is only going to get worse because now younger players are getting more nad more money and everyone running around for them. Rat boy neville and his " i like to take mini retirements" is a prime example of cluelessness and out of touch with everything. Yeah a holiday neville.. bloody holiday .
