January Transfer Window 2023

Supposedly he didn’t sign in the long run and is now a free agent .

Man United… :joy:

Excluding Fernandez, because he hasn’t played yet, only one player on that list has been a success.

Fair point.

It’s even like that in Europe with the top 10 with Coutinho Felix Griezmann Hazard and maybe to a lesser extend Dembele (who injury side is a cracking player).

Probably even add Neymar & Ronaldo (Madrid to Juve) in there depending on how you’re measuring the success to the transfer paid.

VVD is an anomaly there. Hopefully Enzo continues the trend set.

:joy:

I like a lot of what Forest did since getting promoted (and I believe they’ll stay up), but Ayew looks like starting to troll some of their “rival” clubs down there.

Ayew looked like he’d be going somewhere where the numbers are low.

Ayew’s a Pool fan, no way he’d want to help the Ev.

Be great if he scored the winner against them next month.

Forest are making me chuckle now

Sheffield United have failed to make a recent payment to Liverpool relating to the £23.5million signing of Rhian Brewster from October 2020. #lfc [liverpool echo]

All well and good Echo (pricks), when can we start legal proceedings and sue them for 130m?

Eight players that are on course to become free agents in the summer:

• Youri Tielemans
• Wilfred Zaha
• Marcus Thuram
• Evan Ndicka
• Adrien Rabiot
• Thomas Lemar
• Marco Asensio
• Ilkay Gundogan.

Anyone fancy any of these.:face_with_head_bandage:

as a player I like the look of Rabiot and Asensio. However, I don’t know them as personalities so I don’t know if they’d be a good fit.

I like Gundogan. :+1::sunglasses:

Forgot that Ayew successfuly played under Cooper at Swansea, was probably an important factor also.

Adnan Januzaj from Sociedad to Istanbul Basaksehir on loan.

Rabiot (and his agent/mother) are known to be “difficult”… to put it mildly.

Evan Ndicka and Marcus Thuram are the twonwho stand out to me. Thuram for more depth in the forward positions and Ndicka could potentially grow into van Dijk replacements. They are 23 and 25 respectively, probably wouldn’t cost a bomb in wages.

The making of a decent side on paper… looking forward to seeing them all line up for Forest next season.
