Nah - just the usual made-up nonsense.
It’s always tomorrow though…tomorrow never arrives.
Tomorrow never knows.
Possibly the worst Bond film ever. The one with Denise Richards at the end of the Brosnan era was obviously worse but it felt they werent even trying to by then. For this to follow the majesty of Goldeneye was devastating to a young Limie
Free beer tomorrow!
He was a terrible bond.
Goldeneye is one of the best bond films. The subsequent increasing Moore-ification of Brosnans Bond ruined it, Brosnans qualities and Moore’s are very different
On her Majesty’s secret service.
This is a common thing thrown around with little to back it. Lazenby might not have been the greatest actor of all time, but he did a fine job in the role and I’ve always felt this film gets unfairly slated. It’s better than several of the Moore romps - and I say that as a fan of the Moore Bond films.
Brosnan easily the worst bond for me, I think Dalton was great, Moore was schlocky as hell but I loved him in the role. Craig is the pinnacle and of course Connery was fantastic even if the writing and direction weren’t always on point in the early days, Lazenby fits somewhere in the middle, maybe above Brosnan and just below Moore and Dalton.
Roger Moore was the best….Daniel Craig the worst…thank fuck he is gone….no more now back to Jezza or Frimp talk.

The shitposter’s shitpost.
Quality.
I will take that as a compliment

….no more now back to Jezza or Frimp talk.
I’d honestly forgotten what I’d clicked on…
Is he nearly here yet?

Roger Moore was the best
I remember as a teenager thinking, hell I’d love to help Dr Christmas Jones overcome her anorgasmia.
Lazenby was not a great bond but ohmss is very arguably the best bond film

this film gets unfairly slated
Didn’t know the film got slated. Thought it was widely regarded as one of the highest points of the film series, though Lazenby is not the reason why.
Also Brosnan was a good bond in Goldeneye. The direction the rest of the films he led took was the problem. A more serious bond being forced to Moore it up. Nothing wrong with bond being at either end of the serious-silly scale, just make sure the actor suits the style of bond being shown. Brosnan in Dalton’s films would’ve been just as much of a hit. Moore in Brosnans later films would’ve been more successful/suitable than Brosnan.
