If not for injuries/illness Aurelio and Babbel would both be on a par with that top 3 - both brilliant players.
Joel, Milly, and Gary Mac are a testament to the possibility of great free transfers. If Joel can stay injury free for 2/3 seasons he might be the undisputed best but for now I’d say it’s between Milly and Mac.
Also, have said this a couple of times, but if not for Salah’s phenomenal season he’d surely be in with a shout at player of the season.
He’s been brilliant all season and he deserved that last night. Great team celebration too. You could see how pleased everyone was for him. Just a shame Hendo wasn’t on the pitch to slap him on the head.
