The Real Madrid fighting for presidentship is so stupid. Riquelme claimed that if he becomes president, he will get Kloppo to be RM’s head coach. Kosicke says on Sky Sport to Enrique Riquelme’s latest statements: “It’s annoying! Jürgen Klopp is happy in his role at RedBull and has no ambitions to work as a coach at a club.”

Midfield extraordinaire is pushing it.
I had no idea what Gini was before he came here. He was everything and nothing. Both for club and at national level (where it took him a while to break in and establish himself ay he did).
We did well altogether. The player also, he reacted brilliantly from the summer of 2018 onwards, when we almost signed a whole new midfield, there were reasons why.
We can say they found sense in his game and simplified it for the team’s context at the time.
It was funny then seeing PSG almost copying our dogs of war midfielders approach, behind a huge profile attack (Messi, Neymar and Mbappe). They went too far though and the balance wasn’t right. Gini was initially the first to arrive from that midfield bunch and Messi and Neymar were probably used to different levels.
They were missing the key ingredient.

Ok, for a period he was the most press resistant midfielder in the world.I accept that it’s only one facet of being a great player. But that’s the quality that we needed the most.
