Jürgen Klopp - Liverpool Legend

Being a good guy requires strength.

Yeah, the way he treated Sakho for instance is testament to that, after the latter had breached some internal rules set up by Kloppo. But I suppose that nasty streak is needed if you want to stay so long at the top as a coach.

By the way, I’m sure he meant it with that Sky reporter… :joy:

Deleted already. Amazon and the likes controlling media.

Post match interview.
The presenter immediately tries to needle JK by mentioning that Palace is a midday kick off. Klopp tells him off, calls him ignorant and says he doesn’t understand football.
Pretty normal stuff.

Bread and circuses.

Macca also shut up for once lol.

Isn’t Macca in an official role with the club?

Probably thought I’m just going to keep silent and watch the stars or something.

:joy:

remind me, if I ever meet Jurgen to not piss him off. in a second language he can shut someone down in less than 10sec.

The interviewer said the phrase, “I don’t mean to be disrespectful…”

It’s a phrase that people sometimes use when they are in fact being disrespectful! Almost always, nobody says anything about it.

But on this occasion, the second the reporter said, “I don’t mean to be disrespectful” Jurgen shot back with, “But you were.”

Well said our manager.

Because Jurgen has a big smile and a huge joy of life, sometimes people take the piss, but he is also a very serious man, when needed, and can defend his corner with the best of them.

And as was said above, while doing so in a second language.

There is not another manager in world football I’d rather have.

Probably due to the fact Amazon won’t be involved from next year :joy:

Just ask Mamadou Sakho

funnily enough, i bet you Sahko begrudgingly thanks him…

I’m not going to lie: I’m a little surprised by those comments. I know they are said jokingly, but we are mid-season, and although I wouldn’t consider them vindictive, he is certainly making fun of a pair of players that didn’t choose us and are struggling for fitness and form at the club they chose. I feel there may have been a pretty big amount of disappointment personally for Klopp when they both chose Chelsea.

What was the order of events? Were Dom and Mac already on the books when we were In for Lavia and Moises and it was therefore Endo and Gravy as the alternates? If it was the case, I think Moises would have been useful for us if he expressed more than a pea-heart of desire.

I think Klopp has become more open with expressing his real thoughts the longer he’s been at this club. Just don’t ever get on the bad side of Jürgen Klopp. He’ll fucking cook you.
