Jürgen Klopp - Liverpool Legend

Not the news I wanted to wake up to here in the States, but this day was bound to happen. Don’t get the timing, but there must be a good reason for it. What can be said? Absolute legend and irreplaceable. He fit the club and city perfectly and is today’s greatest manager. I hope Xavi comes, but also hope he is ready for the large step up.

Edit: Now let’s go win the fucking quadruple!

The decision’s been taken in November and he was contemplating it in a long while.

Please come back in 2 years Klopp. :expressionless:
This guy is irreplaceable, but all he wants at the moment is to live a normal life.

Maybe if he’s rejuvenated himself and feels that he can still do justice to the job.

It’s a crying shame that he’s been cheated out of so many trophies by the crooked refs, cheating scum sides.

And one of the few managers who’s truly left the club in a far far far better position than what it was when he took over.

That’s one thing even Pep , Whiskey Nose , Wenger can’t claim.

Cuz he’ll be back next year :face_holding_back_tears: :face_holding_back_tears: :face_holding_back_tears:

That would be ideal. I fear the lack of continuity and consistency going forward, with also the coaching staff leaving. On the other hand, if he was going to do that, he’d probably have announced it already.

He decided in November

To be fair I think Wenger improved the arse and United were shiter before Slur Alex. Pep well yeah he never improved anything just won the game on cheat mode.

It will be an interesting presser at 3 pm … :sunglasses:

I think the last 5-6 seasons at Wengers time were when the standards started to slip down , gradually at first but pretty drastically in the last 2 seasons atleast.

Credit to him for the invincibles, but he’s stayed on far too long.

Fuck You 2024

Xabi has seen it all as a player and is unlikely to be fazed by the pressure or unaware of what the job means.
He knows the club and the league and is hugely experienced in Europe.

It’ll be very gutting when this thread is moved to the ex-Reds section of the forum

Just why, oh why, oh why…

He’ll be one of the few managers coming in with credit in the bank.

His whole backroom staff is going as well. This is huge loss too.

And I was just wondering (and even posted here) on how Klopp’s succeeded in bringing the youngsters to the fore. The number of promising youth that the club has now is insane.

Any manager taking over from Klopp is getting a fucking monster of a side.

It’s natural for the entire team to go. The contract Liverpool had with Klopp is for his entire team.
