Having just googled what auspicious means, I’m inclined to agree. He is what he is, it’s the same player they sent out on loan and Roma didn’t use.

@Sweeting am I mad to say I’d rather see Chambers stick around as the backup left back? The only times I’ve seen him play football has been in pre-season games for Liverpool, but also every time I’ve seen him I’ve thought he looks capable of being an adequate backup player.

I’m not against it, he’s a solid player. Nothing flashy but certainly capable of being a backup for that role.

Watching Tsimi in pre-season I prefer the idea of Chambers as the backup LB
