But a lot can happen in 5 years (or however long the contract is)
Fact is the release clause is a joke and that’s exactly why Barca have set it so high.
IE - you ain’t leaving unless we want you to leave

It’s just blowing a fuck tonne of smoke up pedri’s ass - make him think he’s the man.
La Liga in general are a joke - however what they do correctly is protect their teams! This weekends Barca/Real fixtures postponed due to the South American players not being able to get back in time. La Liga know that Barca/Real are in trouble, and are doing all they can to help - they have a clear run to their CL games.
Here in the PL - they won’t even move the fucking kick off time from 1230 to 530pm to help us out.
On the other hand, we have the max recovery time between the PL and CL match. City play’s tomorrow at 4 and Tuesday at 5:45. We tomorrow at 12:45 and Tuesday at 8. We are better of.
This time the mess lies at FIFA and those f… internationals not with the PL IMO.
I don’t think the blame lies with one or the other, it’s like a clown show, they’re all shit!
We do have the max recovery time for the CL, but if the PL did what La Liga have done we’d have even more time.
The PL matches, imo, are more important than the CL matches at the moment. Dropping points to Watford is a much bigger blow to the season than losing to Athletico on Tues. The PL are clearly not fussed that the best keeper and No.6 in the PL aren’t involved tomorrow. Will only help them if Watford achieve something against the mighty reds before they stick their tongues even deeper into Claudio’s arsehole.
Yeah, it’s obligatory in Spain, so it’s not a big deal.
Obviously Pedri is both arguably the world’s leading talent (certainly one of) at the moment and already a pretty important player.
I hear what you are saying. Watford has a new manager but it is not a manager that lets them come out having a go at us. Ranieri is a safety-first manager who sets his teams up to defend first and tries to beat opponents on the break so what is new, 95% of all managers do that against us.
Normally I’m a glass half empty guy but we should beat them without much trouble, 0-2.
Agree re Ranieri’s approach, but we all know that there’s always a high chance of new manager bounce raising the Watford players’ performance a few percent - new start, chance to stake claim for a regular starting spot etc. It’s always a dangerous affair playing against a team with a new manager.
On the flip side it’s Watford, they have one every month.
Coutinho comes off the bench to score the 3rd goal in 3-1 win over Valencia.
It’s completely bizarre.
Wow, the tapped phone call where he says “us”, is pretty damning, unless that was a translation from French that doesn’t translate well.
But not a huge surprise.
This is the same guy involved in the French team under age prostitute scandal from years ago. Clearly is someone with no morals
A little reported piece of this story is that Cisse was approached by the blackmailers before they went to Benzema. His response was to go straight to Valbuena and acted like a normal human being by telling him the situation was bad and he should go to the authorities.
Real won the El-Clasico, well, it’s not a big deal anymore, is it?
I assume it was stuck there at 3pm to challenge our match also works for the Asian market.
Be interesting to see how the global viewing figures compare, with the two matches in direct competition.
Yup, was thinking that.
Watching Real Sociedad vs Ath Madrid, one nil to the RS
2-0 now not sure what Oblak is going on that.
