Part of me wonders if he’s even leading things this summer or whether someone else has taken over behind the scenes already.
From what we’ve heard so far its David Woodfine, the current assistant to Hughes that will be handling things when he’s gone.
Not sure if a new senior appointment will be made or he will just step up permanently.

Really don’t care who we sign until September 1st. Hughes’ work here is a C- at best.
All he done is throwing stupid money around, keeping things very late and then throwing even more stupid money around.
Don’t think the Muñoz and Araujo deals are happening without Iraola.
Would never say that about our players but can’t wait until he fucks off.

Well I guess you tried Richard, an unsuccessful bid for an injured Minteh is not what I would call a good day’s work but we are where we are.
I know a lot of people’s last day at a job would be spent on handover, maybe a speech and presentation but on behalf of Andoni, Virgil and LFC fans across the globe - next Friday has to be the single most impressive day of transfer business in the history of association football or we are telling your new Saudi overlords that you were stealing a living, and I don’t believe they take kindly to thieves

Unless he surprises us in the next few days, that’s what I’d give him too. Very underwhelming. At least, he helped us to get Iraola.

Hughes hasn’t done anything that would warrant particular praise. Wirtz was the only signing I’d consider a coup and we had to smash our transfer record to make it happen.

I think all the signings will be work for us bar probably Marna but he didn’t seem to have much skill in finding gems. Plus not even sure what this Minteh situation is.

I’d say our best bet of getting any business we want done is to get rid of Hughes and bring back Jorg from his Ibiza dungeon.
