I don’t normally think we’re owed things as fans. I think a clearer story of WTF happened last time is probably something that qualifies if we’re going to take him back in that role

Agreed, I’d like to hear a bit on that. Don’t think it’s too unreasonable to elaborate on it.
In terms of the individual I’m not too convinced. I know he has Jurgen in his ear regarding signings but does have a good CV and his FSG experience leads to not too much of an upheaval.
Hopefully we go back to the more underrated signings rather than the obvious big money replacements seen under Hughes.

And the club will not want to see anythijg negative being said from club officials…so we will never know forsure
We don’t know much about these upstairs roles and personnel and cannot judge them only by successful or less successful transfer movements. So there isn’t anything very clever to say, whether I’m happy with this or not.
Just hope we find some long needed stability in that role.

I would also strongly be against any more £100M signings. Not that we shouldn’t spend but spread it out because that much money on one player is just not good value for what you spend.
