Lionel Messi- where next?

He was a fantastic goalie. Crazy bastard and a bit of a lunatic.

He was supposed to turn up for NSNO when they played against TIA back in around 2007.
Grobbelaar didn’t turn up either.

Once read an interview with McIIroy it was years ago when he had just switched to Nike and was doing funny commercials together with Tiger. At the end of the day, he said to him, I know an excellent restaurant nearby let’s have some dinner.

Tiger replied no I cannot eat in restaurants, Rory replied, come on how bad can it get and Tiger said, you have no idea, we will not have a moment to eat.

You should see Wind Street when Joe Allen’s trying to enjoy a dry white at No Sign.

Surprised the Seagulls don’t get Joe Allen’s takeaway.

Michael Sheen was the most famous person I saw there and he was drinking alone until one person approached him and then about 20 people did. James Dean Bradfield was also around that day but no one bothered him, poor James :joy:

Messi to Manchester?

And can whoever keeps editing my thread title please stop? Thanks.

JDB absolutely hates talking to people, so probably for the best all round!

Has Messi done anything this past season?

Not sure who has declined the most, probably Ronaldo.

But these days neither one is up to snuff, but are lining their boots based on past achievements and standing in the game.

Well he won a World Cup.

Messi never wanted to leave Barcelona, so it was kind of like a job of convenience at PSG until he found himself. He has achieved everything in his footballing career, what is left for him, not alot really. He could go to MLS, somewhere like Miami FC, where he would feel a little closer to home.

Yeah, but apart from that?

Fair play, it was the one outstanding gap he could have filled, and he did.

Yeah to be fair I was scratching my head at club level, PSG haven’t really improved they still lose the odd few games but no one will seriously challenge them because everyone else is limited in quality and will drop points elsewhere.

You’ll get a few years where they don’t but it’s a rarity.

Maria is probably right he would suit some time out in MLS and Apple TV would love that, that’s not really open to Ronaldo.

Though there was talk of the Saudi’s buying Messi for their new Hasbeens leagues

Next up, the sandy pitches of the Saudi League? Duking it out with Ronaldo?

If Barca is a no-go financially and he doesn’t want to go East/West yet… come to the PL.

So he has another box ticked.

Man Utd or Chelsea?

He’s already got his head up the Saudis’ collective arses

PSG might start sniffing around MO now
