this is MLS, not Europe. you can’t compare the two. the pricing structure of games is actually in a tier system dependent on who they are playing, and those Inter Miami games are priced 2-3x a normal ticket.
this is also why I don’t watch MLS, it’s a show pony league not worth my money. I’d rather go watch Vancouver FC 15min from my house.
Yeah, I think people need to just get their head around the regular season being as much a series of exhibitions as competitive games. This is partly an American phenomenon (see complaints in the NBA related to “load management” of star players), is backed up by the league not shutting down for international breaks and the play off system.
The funny thing about it is Miami still won the game despite not having 3 (4?) of their star ex-Barca players.
Imagine walking through a park in Kolkata and seeing the monuments…there’s Vishnu the creator, that one is Tendulkar the greatest Indian sportsman of all time, there is Gandhi father of the nation, and that one is of a short guy who once walked around a pitch in India surrounded by security staff.
its a shame its even a thing, paying money to watch him walk around a stadium.
let alone how poorly organised it seems to have been.
whilst its hardly the crime of the century, its still a rip off even if you do get to see him walk around the stadium for 20 minutes…so how hard could it POSSIBLY be to make that 20 minute walk accessable for people to view.
