Araujo has been tidy.
Hopefully he’ll be good cover for centre and right back. With jacquet and Frimpong doing well the defence makes me feel a bit more confident.

I was quite pleased with that. It’s a meaningless practice game, but we made chances and defended effectively when the legs got tired.

Reasonable enough. Just a friendly of course.
The existing players, are what they are. Nothing really to quash any of my concerns, but nice to see Frimpong play quite well and Gakpo looked sharp.
Big positve was how comfortable Jacquet looked. He looked like he´s ready. Araujo dives in a bit too much and maybe ball watching but 1v1 you can see he´s a good competitor.
Defence looking a bit better than I feared. Overall, as good as I could hope for really with the squad as it is. Pleased.
