Probably not, he doesn’t have a permit to work in the UK whatever the role, apart from that slight legal issue we also have the existing kit man down as the starting right back, the groundsman to cover every blade of grass as our new midfielder, the social media team as central defensive cover and Doris from the canteen as the Mo Salah replacement due to her right wing views.

The Ndukwe situation is frustrating. Brexit. Slot’s minimal use of youngsters. And a player who looks the part, albeit at the start of his journey here, won’t be allowed to stick around this season.
To my mind, it’s a simple situation. He is exceptional! And therefore he should be allowed to stay. Rather than the points system, there is a much better metric. Liverpool, an elite Premier League club, wants the player! De facto that makes him exceptional. To the best of my knowledge we don’t want any full international Austrian defenders, and if Ndukwe was one of those he would have the points. Why don’t we want any of their full internationals? Because they are not good enough for us. But the Austrian kid is, who is starting to make his way in the game.
It’s frustrating all around.
We will obviously have to go into the market for a defender. We are vulnerable in that department. We will need to take care in finding the right player - someone who can help right now, but also someone who might possibly be overtaken as the new breed get their legs under them. But while that is playing out, we have a new Premier League season that is about to start, and we need another central defender. Let’s go. What are we waiting for?

Well i think its looking pretty obvious that maybe barcola and i only say maybe will come in …i just dont see anyone else coming.
Its less than 19 days until our first game and we are woefully short.
I just dont see 3 or 4 even though we need 5 or 6 top quality players coming in. Makes no sense to wait this long and so close to season started.
I just have no idea why the club have been so bad this window.
We were shit last year and lost 3 good players from that squad.
Im worried next season will be a cluster fuck.

I assume they’re using the same logic as some of our fans that we have very good players, Slot was the problem and Iraola will restore order
